Anybody here have any idea what these people do as a part of their jobs? Tried Google, but only job postings came up.
My idea of a Proprietary Trader is one of those people you see on CNN and they're all yelling at each other from the floor of the NYSE or whereever CNN is reporting from. They work for somebody who is interested in making a profit from buying and selling stocks.
I'm asking because of this job posting that I'm interested in.
