Having paid all that tuition, you should be choked if they cancelled all classes due to weather.

Besides, a lot of students live on campus so it's not like any class would be completely empty.

U of C was packed today, I would be pissed if they cancelled classes, I come in regardless of the weather, I payed to be here, and I plan to get my money's worth out of it.

I hate skipping class! I feel like I'll miss out on something important the prof will say...

Yah I hate skipping classes as well. I actually feel bad when I do but the last couple of days I've been sick with a cold and this nasty ass weather isn't helping any so I haven't left my house.

It's first week anyway so I'm just going to have to go hard starting next week.

Post secondary education is just like working at a job. You dont have to go. But when you get back all of the work will still be waiting for you, and eventually they wont let you back.

My cousin is in elementary, & he doesn't have school today! It's not even that cold out, & there's not that much snow either... :dunno:

This is pathetic.... it's not THAT cold out... how the heck would people up north get an education if they closed schools when it was -43? It was -53 in Regina, so suck it up and just go! lol
