TFT (thin film transistor) is a type of LCD (liquid crystal display) flat-panel display technology.

Compared to other types of LCD technology, TFT features excellent image quality and response time, but uses more power, and is more expensive.

TFT technology is an active-matrix technology, meaning that a tiny circuit (a transistor) is located next to each pixel, allowing the pixel to be turned on and off individually. This permits faster response time and greater contrast compared to passive-matrix technology.

what car do you have, if you want these installed you would need to either have 2 single din openings or 1 double din opening, install, well there isn't much to it really...same as a normal car deck except a few more video wires

Does the screen have any kind of screensaver or cool effect while a CD is playing or radio is on?

no it does not have anything while the cd is playing, when its an mp3 it shows the folder structure and allows you to more around if your mp3 cd has folders in it...also shows the time eleapsed and all that.

its cheaper because these items are as brand name as alpine and all those, as everyone knows (or should know) that most of the time when you buy those items its for the name.

Anyone is welcome to come by and take a look.
