Compressing songs

hey i have some songs that i would like to burn on a cd, one song is 86megs, how do i shrink it down to put on a 80 mg cd?
any help would be greatly appreciated.

do you want to burn it as a music cd that goes in any player or as an mp3 cd for a computer?

and... is this 86 meg song in mp3 format and the rest of your music or .wav?
