FS: 1999 Honda Civic SiR

I am selling my 1999 Honda Civic SiR. The car is located in Calgary, Alberta. I take car of my car and it sucks that I have to let her go.

She is a fun, two door coupe.

The Good
- Only 101.xxx KM"s
- No body imperfections; do dents, dings or bonks. One scratch.
- Power everything, including sunroof and cruise control.
- Compustart remote starter/alarm.
- Just put in:
..Two Alpine Type-S 10" DVC's
..Phoenix Gold Octane R 500x1 Monoblack amp
..Rockford Fosgate 351s two channel
..Kicker K6.2 front Components
..Phoenix Gold Octane R Coaxials 6x9's in the rear.
- Maintained; next maintainance is due at 120KM.
- Gets great gas mileage: 35MPG
- 160HP B16A2 1.6L 4cyl VTEC Engine
- Electron Blue
- Yokohama Avid T4 Rubber
- TYC clear tail lights.
- No other modifications. A clean, stock SiR (how often do you see that?)

The Bad
- Takes premium gasoline.
- Was in a fender bender in early December. Everything has been repaired now to spec; can't tell there was a difference. My friend backed into me :( No other accidents that I am aware of.
- Can't enjoy the VTEC until spring, really.


I am asking $13,900. You won't find another SiR like this in Calgary, or probably in Alberta, period. I need to sell the car because I am going to school now and can't afford the insurance and the car payment. Serious offers only; test drives will only be entertained if weather permits. I do NOT wan't a bunch of people bagging my car, especially in this weather. BAG THE CAR WHEN YOU OWN IT, NOT WHEN I DO.

no usdm engines have 160hp....only if you get a jdm engine, it's 170hp

No, it's 160HP and 111 lb-ft of toque.

I believe the JDM B16 has a bit more torque...

And seriously, I'm open to offers, but let's keep it decent. Lowballing isn't going to be accepted and you know it. I'm not in a huge hurry to sell the car, but it does need to be sold.

I can vouch for the car being clean, interior looked immaculate along with the rest of the car....great SiR.

wanting the S13 is only the first part....it only gets to be a hopless addiction! If your looking for an S13 i guess its my duty to suggest a JDM car!:D

There are so many cars I want... a boosted 91 CRX, 180sdx Type-2, Silvia K... argh it's so hard to choose!

And yea, you saw the car before I had the stereo and whatnot in it.

Hey, how long after you ordered your Silvia did it take to get in? Were there any hidden costs? Do you have to run 94 octane? IS the car relaible?

Best yet... is it a pain to drive in the winter? Haha.

If you want a boosted car and also have reliability go with a factory turbo'd car, hands down its the safest way to go. *COUGH* silvia *HACK* 180.....ehem
also you'd enjoy RWD too compared to the CRX

took exactly 2 months for the car to reach my doorstep from when i bought it at auction, was worth every hour!
no hidden costs, just your OoP cost ($100) and whatever needs to be fixed if anything, then register it and your done.
Ive been running it on 91, filled it with 89 the first time due to habit but didnt feel anything different, although i had some detonation at higher boost levels (12-15psi) havent tried to up the boost again until i get proper gauges. As for reliable its awsome...runs and starts great even in cold weather!
as for driving it in the snow, ive taken it out a couple times and it isnt hard to just drive with a light foot, i've got winter tires on it and its only a handful when i want it to be hehe

as far as I know he bought it like that dude....and all you need to do is find some guy who likes clear tails and trade him...even make some money off it while you make your car look cleaner!

in other words if you DON'T like the tails it is to your advantage, because you will pocket some cash even after you buy the car.......soooooooooooo

The only "ricey" thing on it is the tails. Absolutely everything else is stock (minus a chrome shift knob my girlfriend gave me :)).

You find me another car in this condition, with this stereo, for the same price.
