I m trying to add 1000 calories more to my diet to bulk up but am having a hard time.. im eating 6-7 smalls meals a day.. thinking about taking some wieght gain power with my protein as well.

anyone use any weight gain powder and see good results..
I was thinking about something with 600+ calories / serving. that should help me get over the slump.

a sample diet

*1 cup oats with milk > glass of orange juice
and cofee
* workout
*5-6 eggs with Beans 2 pieces of toast with orange juice
and protein shake
* 1 peanut butter sandwich or tuna sandwich, and apple
* 1 1/2 cup of pasta with tamato sauce and ground beef
* 1 peanut butter sandwich
* grilled chiken with veggies or baked patato
* 1 cup cottage cheese (cassein protein) before sleeping with fruit

oh yah I drink about 2-3 ltrs of water

2 slices of peanut butter pie= over 900 calories :D

ill give it a try this weekend... cant keep eating peanut butter pie though

dont be afraid of surgar man, eat lots of carb dense foods and try to eat every 2 hours. you should be eating everything and anything IMO.

don't bother with the weight gainer, it is just sugar and protein, if you look at the ingredients you'll see the first one is probably maltodextrin, its just and an unsweet version of dextrose

when I was bulking I used this shake:

2 cups milk
1/2 cup blended steel cut oats, not the instant kind
2 scoops ON chocolate whey protein powder
1.5 table spoon flax seed oil
1.5 table spoon olive oil
and whatever fuits i had laying around

good for around 800 cals, I drink skim so it would be more if you drank 2% or whole

i used to grind up a bunch of oats like once a week and keep them in a sealed container

I found one recipe for a weight gainer on bodybuilding.com that was like 1600 calories. But i can't find it. I did find this article tho. There are some decent recipes here that sound pretty good.
