I was just thinking today after a disscussion with my boss how he had lost a camera in his luggage at the airport while traveling in the US. He didnt make much of a fuss because of the thread of being treated like a "terrorist"

For some reason I am reminded of other regimes such as Communist Russia, or East Germany. The government is taking "freedom" to a level where they no longer trust their citizens. Granted its not AS bad. How about the individuals they tag as a terrorist and hold them without bail or trial? Where can it lead when you slowly take liberty and freedom away for some "saftey". Im personally bothered and confused with the way things are going.

How about the rest of you? Where do you think this will end ? Another civil war in the next few hundred years ? Can you justify this ?
