Anyone know? I've asked some friends parents and they don't even know.
I miss the noodles... everytime I'm back in Van I go to the place by Jack's Loft in Richmond.

Vogue is OK, nice layout, I only go there when the other Taiwanese place next door (with the yellow sign) is full.
And the waitresses are anything but 'old'...

Unless I'm mistaken Thai Sa'On is on 10th Ave and 3rd Street by Mother Tuckers. And I know there is another one called the King and I, 11th Ave 8th Street. Haven't been to those in a while though, so I hope they're still around, the food isn't bad either.
-Edit: Oops just realized the topic was Taiwanese :banghead: just ignore this message

I actually quite like Quickly in Chinatown.

There's a place in Harvest Hills now called iPlay that's in the strip mall with Pho Van. Never tried it before though, when it first opened, we sat down for a good 15 mins and nobody talked to us so we left.

Food there sucks. It's just junk fast food.

303 Fusion Kitchen (http://www.303fusionkitchen.ca/) on 17th Ave SE.
I didn't find the food to be very good (aside from the beef roll), but it could be personal preference.

Also tried it. Hole in the wall but not very good IMO.

Making their 11yr old (I assume owner's kids) handling hot liquid scared the shit out of me.

It's hit & miss. I will say some of their Taiwanese dishes taste very authentic. Last two visits the quality has been all over the place so much so that I probably wouldn't go back unless I'm craving it.

Childish hands are only good for sewing Jordans and not pan-frying.
