I'm looking to buy a 92' 325 or 318...i was shocked to see that some are selling for 7g's but the k's are pretty high..200+.I know that the E36 are solid but im not sure if its worth all the headaches and money for parts. I wanna know if i should spend my money on the bimmer or some rice rocket like a teg or some other dime a dozen car.
E36 318's made prior to '94 have a very known problem with their "profile gasket." They are known to fail and it is a very expensive repair.
The general opinion on it though is that if it hasn't failed yet and the car has hilgh miles it probably wont.
