Woot!! :clap: Looked so cool! I've been waiting for this for a long time. When ever I mention Spider-Man or comics or something, my dad goes on and on about Fantastic Four. Not to mention he watches Spider-Man 1 & 2 whenever he gets the chance lol!

I'll admit I didn't have a lot of high expectations when I heard this was announced, but the trailer makes it look pretty interesting.

Couldn't be worse that Daredevil! Hahaha!

i'm not expecting to much outta this...with the exception of spider man 2, and xmen 1, 2 i haven't really enjoyed any of the marvel films..i.e daredevil, electra, catwomen, spidey 1

I actually liked daredevil, at least it had some worthy acting unlike punisher, which I thought waz the worst Marvel movie ever made. Just my opinion. I'd be willing to see fantastic four.

this looks like its got potential, did any1 see the weak ass attempt for this movie done sometime in the mid90's, don't think it hit theatres.

The first FF movie was made solely to keep the film rights, had it not been made the rights would have fallen into the public domain. Marvel didn't want that to happen. It was never meant for public consumption.

At least that is what Stan Lee has said.

I am still iffy on this film. I will see it. Marvel is hit and miss lately. They are far better than they used to be. The latest punisher film was a joke. It was the kinder, gentler Punisher. I think I liked the 1988 version better.

So long as FF is better than this it will be good escapism.

I really want to see how Julian McMahon fares as Doctor Doom. Hopefully they didn't cheese up his character and give some lame East European accent or something. For those who don't know, he plays Christian Troy on Nip/Tuck.

If I recall correctly, the FF cartoons I used to watch as a kid (which were made in the 60's) had Dr. Doom with a very distinct eastern european accent.

Yeah Dr Doom is the King of Latveria, some made-up European country. So it might be "accurate" to give him an accent but it would be pretty lame to hear Julian McMahon talk with one. But still, I have my doubts about the FF movie. Thing looks really weird to me.

spiderman 2 was ok.....fantastic 4 is supposed to be good, and the trailer for silver surfer will be out hopefully withing 5 months...can you believe nicolas cage is playing as silver surfer.....also new superman movie cooming out, and they want to use Joe from the bachelor show to play as superman...also new batman cooming out this year hopefully....that ones gonna be sweet.
