FS: 278hp Japanese Aluminum V8 (VH45DE)

This engine is a BRAND NEW VH45DE, from an Infiniti dealership in California. Sells for $10k CAD up here in Canada and $7k USD down there in the states. I bought it for my 94' Infiniti Q45a, which unfortunately was totalled. The engine specs are as follows:

94-96 4.5L DOHC 32v V8 (VH45DE)
4494 cc
274 ci
93x82.7 mm
10.2:1 compression
HP: 278 at 6000 rpm*
Torque: 292 lb-ft at 4000 rpm

This engine is unbelievably light for it's size, type and displacement. Good for custom swaps, custom projects (450zxtt... and yes, it's been done) or to fix up your ailing Q45.

The engine is currently located in Signal Hill California, factor that into your offers..

There is NO SET PRICE and the engine MUST GO. I'm currently taking best offer on it, so make an offer, any offer will do, but be prepared to get outbid if you bid too low!

....there seems to be no intake/exaust manifolds ,no injectors,motor mounts,sensors,fuel rail, wiring harness,throttle body,ecm,maf,....and a boat load of other stuff that I haven't mentioned....hardly a good canidate for a swap unless you throw in the car this came out of. :eek:

That's because this is a brand NEW motor and as such, only comes with what you'd get it with if you bought it straight from the dealership. If you want to get ALL new parts, you can easily pick those up from the dealership too, or if you'd prefer, you can buy a parts Q45 for a grand total of $500.

Also please list what you you selling exactly, as it is not clear to members what you are selling as a whole, as it appears you are only selling the block and heads pre-assembled according to the picture.

Short block is block only. Long block is block plus the head(s).

This is a brand new VH45DE long block, ready to roll once accessories (alt, starter, etc), fuel injection (rails, injectors, etc) and spark have been dealt with. The only accessory included is a water pump. Thanks Hollywood!
