Its not a mirror image, its a panorama photo made by stitching together multiple photos :) You're looking at both ends of the bridge, pretty well done too I might add!

Thats a very professionally done shot. I used to have to do work like that for the environmental engineering firm I worked for when I first graduated. You can't see seams in the image or anything

Takes some awesome photography skills to ensure lighting/exposure is the same on all the shots (or some good photo editting software). I should try to take some shots like that when I'm bored! :)

Even with photo editing suites it is VERY hard to get the colors and exposures perfect. I got to be quite good at it after doing it for almost a year, but there were usually very subtle differences unless the images started out REALLY close to begin with.

Could it be a very neatly mounted camera with a 180 degree fisheye lens?

Nope, fisheye lens will result in distortion. Its just a camera with some really good metering and color reproduction mounted on a swiveling head so it stays in alignment. Guy who took it probably knows everything about photography, and he still probably took quite a few attempts to get it right

Damn that cool, looks like a buch of work went into that too because the panarama shots that I've taken never work out as good at that.
