I've recently noticed that my car needs a valve adjustment by the clicking noise coming from the engine. Is it dangerous to my engine to drive it hard tonight at Solo2? I've been driving it hard on the street since it started 1 week ago.

Thanks.

I have that ticking sound too from my car. It's been a long time so I think you should be fine. Maybe I should give my car a tune up now.:D

i think it has to do with the valve timing. i forget, but i believe that was the reason my car made the ticking.

this might sound stupid, but is it a valve adjustment that fixes it?

this might sound stupid, but is it a valve adjustment that fixes it? Its likely just lifter tick. I wouldn't worry about it too much, unless your valvetrain is REALLY sloppy.

It was actually right in between what both you guys said, 47.2 :) or 47.18 to be exact. Good driving by Mike! :)
