Just fine one where you can sign up over the phone without meeting them. Tell them you were born with midget arms and have to sit very close to the steeringwheel, and it was advised that an airbag would be dangerous to you.

Hey calvin, so what did you have to do to keep that srs light off? I need to do it to my passenger airbag.

well the YELLOW plug that goes to the Airbag needs to be jumpered with a resister. Roland gave me a 1 watt. 3.3 ohm (it worked on another civic). so I think all I need to do is that... I think.. right now I just connect the 2 tip, and the light still on.. resister should work... I hope..

so you just have to connect the two leads of the plug together but put in a resistor as well?

put the resistor between the 2 lead, I think that's the only way.

so in essensce you're just shorting out the circuit with the resistor right?

Superesc

Yup! so the circuit thinks the airbag is connected!

the point of the resistor is to simulate the resistance of the airbag so the srs system still thinks the airbag is still in place. i just plugged the resistor right into the harness and taped it up. works fine.

about the airbag and insurance issue..... cause of my recent accident i'm considering putting the stock steering wheel back in. i was lucky it was only a minor accident... if i did get into a serious accident i would probably be so screwed. something for you guys to think about...

accidents happen at the most unsuspected time.... lol. so becareful.

anyways..... how does the steering wheel feel compared to stock? big improvement? i really like the feel of smaller steering wheels. hehe.

I haven't even took it out for a drive yet!! but it feel real nice, 3/4 top part is suede I think, and the rest is leather.. the smaller wheel feels much nicer!!
