Sounded as if something was rubbing. The faster i drove the faster the sound was. my buddy said it might be my brakes. sinse its been sitting for so long they are rubbing. does anybody know what exactly it is?

Usually you just need one good stop to clean up the braking surface, so I doubt that's the problem. Sounds more like a wheel bearing.

Yeah, is the sound kind of a pulsating hum? Probably only heard at speeds above 60? I had to change my wheel bearing a week ago and thats what it was like.

well i only drove it up the street and back and didn't break hard, and i only went like 30 kms and hour. I also didn't break very hard so i'll try that and c if it changes. but this sound wasn't comming when i had parked the car so im wondering why it started now.
