Pats will win, but I'm rooting for the Eagles now that my Steelers are done:cry: . It's gonna take them 3 losses in the Superbowl before they can win one.

I think T.O. will play, but only at about the level Randy Moss did.

Alot of people hate brady and the patriots.. cuz there not mainstream like other players on teams like.. owens, sapp, moss, ray lewis, bettis.. im going for the Eagles too but still gotta say that the patriots are a FRANCHISE.. the team is going to be the same next year too.. no one is a free agent..

they steam rolled the colts offense and destroyed the Pits Defense.. and will prob win the bowl

The EAgles just lost their tight end, the guy who had two TD's this past weekend against the Falcons. Wonder if TO will be back for the big game?

Right now, I just don't know how the PAtriots can lose. It's amazing how well that team performs when everything is on the line. They are so solid and their last two wins have been just impressive. It makes you wonder what the hell happened during the second year when they went 9-7 and missed the playoffs but that's discussion for another day.

Not this Sunday....it's next Sunday (Feb 6).

I'm hoping for the Eagles although they beat my Falcons on Sunday. They'll win for the same reason they won against ATL....their defence is gonna smother Brady. If their defence can keep Brady and Dillon in check Philly can run up the score.

Apparently T.O. is working out this week and will be hopefully running by next week. I don't think he'll be much of a factor anyway if he plays. Rust will be on him.

I'm taking Eagles but I think it'll be close 28-24.

Owens cant do nothing against the PATS.. the Colts have 3 awesome wide recievers .. Stokley, Harrison who is much better then Owens and the Pats rolled over them.. TO cant do nothing alone.

Keep in mind that that game was played on a snow covered outdoor field. If you've watched any Colts games, u'll notice they seem to suck in outdoor games and dominate in indoor games because they can utilize their speed. If you watched that specific game, those 3 recievers were slipping all over the place and did not have their normal speed. Also for some reason in that game , Tony Dungy called for mostly running plays throughout the game really limiting Peyton from doing what he normally does.

I think Owens wont do good but for a different reason, that being him coming back too early and probably leaving after re injuring himself in the first quarter.

even though i hate both teams equally this is a total no brainer
pats by a field goal;)
and pats are more of a franchise IMO, yes eagles does have an amazing system with how much cap space they still have after last years free agent landings, but pats are so good they dont need a salary cap wiz like the eagles to get players in landing long term contracts, the players simply take the payroll cut and join the pats, corey dillon is a perfect example

The Superbowl isn't about payroll....it's about who wants it more and I think since Donovan McNabb has been denied the chance to play in the Superbowl 3 times prior he wants that ring.

T.O. or no T.O. the Eagles are gonna come out just as fierce if not more than the Pats did against the Steelers. 2/3 of the last Superbowls the Pats have won. The Eagles haven't won since the early 80's so you can guess who wants it more especially considering Philly had a chance in the NBA finals against the the Lakers a few years back, the Flyers had a decent run last season, and the Phillies have sucked it up since John Kruk left! Philly wants it more than the Pats so expect them to come out flying (no pun intented).

I'm hoping for the Eagles, because the Patriots knocked out my Colts.

However I think the Patriots will win, Brady seems unstoppable.

21-10 Patriots.

I'm going for the Eagles too (lesser of 2 evils). My guess is 28-17.

Pats by two majors. 24-10

Brady is unstoppable after January 1st. Whether TO comes back or not will no difference to the outcome of the game. Watch the game to witness the Pats Dynasty at its peak.

BTW, can we make this a poll thread?

Weather is always made out to be more then it really is as a factor.. Dungy aint a dumb coach either.. so many balls were left on the field that should have been caught..

PATS will dominate this one as well..

Predicition Pats by 14 or more

p.s. im a raiders fan

if T.O comes out to play, it'll be almost a career threatening risk, his doctors are telling him not to play...sure if he's in the game, thats great, but I dont think he'd actually have an effect other than being a decoy...i mean being in the game and being able to cut, plant and take a hit are two very different things

I wasn't talking about the superbowl, i meant organization and system wise they're both very good but different in a way.

And do you guys really think Bellichik is stupid to be distracted by a 80% at best TO?

I predicted the exact score on a different forum, too bad I didn't put money on it. Helluva game from Owens, Westbrook too (although he shouldn't have made that last catch). I wasn't rooting for anyone coming in, but found myself really backing the Eagles at the end, but it would have probly been that way if the pats were down. Seems to have come down to inexperience and disorganization. I think they'll be back next year, hopefully against the Steelers

Skyline_Addict
02-06-2005, 10:06 PM
the eagles looked like they died off at the end, minus their last touchdown. good game though.

i would say mcnabb had poor judgement, especially with all those picks.

mcnabb should really look at what brady is doing. no interceptions thrown.

No shit, McNabb sucks, I didn't see him throw one good ball. You would think if you were an NFL QB you could at least throw a decent spiral. Brady made him look like he was a second string high schooler.

i was hoping mcnabb would have had a better game than he did...i think the out come would have been different if he didnt look so nervous... dont get me wrong i had the whole jersey hat and flag for the pats!!! new englands defense is just too strong...bruschi, mcginest are nuts!!!!! it was a good game though.
