Like it says i want to polish the lenses on my prelude( when i get it back from the shop):banghead:

I saw another thread were someone said use jewelers rouge, but didnt tell how well it worked or if the lens was plastic.
wondering if this or plastic polish is better.
And, if the polish is better which brand is best?

Hey,

I'm not sure if your headlight lense is plastic or glass. I have a 2000 Toyota Celica with big plastic lenses. I used "Meguiars PlastX" I picked it up from Canadian tire for about 10 bucks. It works well but you have to put in alot of elbow grease and do it a few times before you'll get the results your looking for.

I also read somewhere that if you use a metal polish first it will take out the larger nicks then follow that with the PlastX to get rid of the finer scratches. (But i've never actually done it)

I also herd this Novus 3 step product works very well http://www.noscratch.com/novus/ - its more expensive and it might be harder to find. I would call around to Motorcycle shops or check ebay to find it.

I hope that helps.
Aaron
