I'm trying to see if anyone has installed a Saab APC box on a Volvo 700 or 900 series car? I just picked up a 740 turbo wagon with the B230FT engine in it and was looking to increase the boost on it. Basically it's a control unit taken out of the Saab 900 and 9000 turbo cars that controls the boost (allowing up to 15 PSI) and monitors the knock sensor so that things don't get too out of control. It's all OEM parts that I can rip out of a wrecked car. There's lots of info on this mod on the volvo sites, but I'm trying to find someone in Calgary that might be able to help me out with this.

I'd also be interested to see if there are any other cheap alternatives to this setup.

Your best bet will be to visit a SAAB based forum.

I've got wiring diagrams in my snap-on, efi shop manual.

Is it possible to print them out, create a pdf, or some way so that I could view them? I'm looking at 86-89ish cars.
