Question about Imports?

Does anyone know anything about importing a car from canada to australia?

first off, im guessing it would pretty GOD damn expensive! and secondly why would you want to! sure it would be worth alot down there! but the only good car to ship to the land down under would be a BMW

BMW's are about twice the price for people down there!
also safty regs and whatsuch would be different!

well the thing is this is my first car and second i just want to have it as it there then i'll be happy... i dont wanna import it there just to sell it i just want it there if i move there...

theres nothing wrong about that is there ???
