The smart is actually a really cool car. While my dad was shopping for SUVs (we're still looking for one is anyone has one), the dealer let us take the smart for a drive.

It's fun, the concept is cool, the car makes sense to those who need the mileage and reliability, and its quite affordable. For those that don't need any more, this is the PERFECT car!

Was behind one at a touchless car wash today. Took about 1/2 the time to wash than a normal sized car. Very convienient when there's a huge lineup. I'm wondering if they'd start charging 1/2 price to wash one of those. If I owned one of those, I'd be annoyed to pay the same price as a full car.

:werd: Some of the guys in Vancouver made a deal with the ferry companies that go from Vancouver to Victoria, and they only charged them half the price, since it takes up half the room.
