Is this the blue one by any chance?

If so, the buyer tried to sell it here, but withheld serious information such as the title of the vehicle and other details too.

That picture doesn't look like an SiR. Don't they have a spoiler and different rims?

Small world - I was going to check that car out!

It is thousands less than any SIR, and at first glance, the price can't be beat!

Car fax also stated this >>> ALERT! Severe damage events were reported by a DMV for this 1999 HONDA CIVIC SI/SIR (1HGEM1158XL074464). This vehicle does NOT qualify for the CARFAX Buyback Guarantee.
So heads up

bahahha a friend of mine in calgary went to check out the car and found some pretty major damage in the rear. it wasnt immediately noticeable, but it was definitely repaired.

Hahaha - I gave him a call yesterday too -- asked for the VIN # (even though I had Jeff's carfax sheet sitting right there), and pretended to login to carfax.

I asked him if the car had been in any accidents, if the KMs were accurate and if it had ever been claimed as a salvage -- he lied on all three accounts.

Then I walked him through the Carfax report -- the car was salvaged, in a serious accident & stolen, and that the real mileage was over 162,500kms.

He played stupid and I informed him that what he was doing was illegal and that many people were in the midst of reporting him to the RCMP, have a great day - click.

Hey, I originally went to see the car and checked it out, then forwarded to Jeff. The reason the picture does not look like an SiR is because the seller did not have a picture and got a generic one from a website.

The car does look like an SiR, and is also Red. Since it was a US (Si only) model originally though, the SiR badging has been since added. At first glance the vehicle looks to be in very good shape, however I never test drove it. I was planning to until I saw the Carfax.

Watch out for this car, it's been shined and dressed up for the sole purpose of ripping someone off.
