after a few hours of kicking and hammering the hood i managed to get it to lock properly on the latch. lol. fuji comes over with a roll of duct tape and we tapped the bumper back on... hahaha. i'll take some pictures in the morning...

no CF hood. still waiting for it to come in. won't have it on till another 3 weeks atleast. lol. the thing i'm worried about is... if i go a decent speed it might create enough lift and blow the hood right off my car..... on a busy road like crowchild or glenmore..... it wouldn't be good.

lol..thats wicked...your trusting Duct Tape to hold your hood down!...I have solved many problems with Duct Tape, my broken Sunroof( black duct tape for the added pimp style!), A coolant Leak on my Passat, Duct Tape, zip ties, a bicycle Tire repair kit, and a Bungee cord worked on that one! creativeness is the Key with duct tape...good job! :rofl:

Actually, I was walkin through the Ghetto one day, and i heard a rumor about black duct tape. If you cover your hood in it, but make sure its all flat and the edges of the tape meet perfect, people will think you spent tond of monay on a CF hood :thumbsup: So just throw on some more duct tape and cancel the order for your hood :D
