I have a 99 Jeep Wranger with about 97,000 miles on it. I wanted to buy a brand new one but I heard that it would be cheaper and just as good to put a new motor in it instead. Right now it is a 4 cylinder automatic and I want to make it a stick. Does anyone have any suggestions on this?

If I were you I wouldn't do the swap. From my experience I'm not a big fan of swapping major components like that. Just ride this thing out for a while more and then get a new one.

Just my $0.02

Once again voiced by many, as well as myself. An auto to stick swap is a waste of money.
