I would have preferred watching them beat the hell out of it on a track or off road or something. But then I've never been a fan of those "just sit there" shows like burnout compos and sound system wars, etc. Cool video :dunno:

Kinda entertaining I guess:dunno: I agree with watching it blow.

haha i wonder what other manufactures times are for stuff like that. i bet its like 70% of what honda's time is.

Yeah,

I think what that really proves is that engine is virtually bullet proof. That is severe, cruel and unusual punishment - and they still had trouble making it fail. Incredible really.

But I sure wish they could have made a four minute video out of it instead of eight. :-)

I'm amazed it started again once they put MORE water in :|

Reminds me of that guy with the old vw, with the video of doing an engine swap quickly with time accelerated. His lasted maybe 20seocnds

the closest thing ive ever done to that it pull the radiator out of an old camry and thorw a brick on the gas, it ran for literally 15 minutes but we had to stop cuz the exhaust was glowin all the way back and lit the grass on fire, the oil was boiling in the oil pan, i never thought it would take that,

Its a waste of an engine, not as sweet as the rotary that took 11 mins to explode and catch on fire tho.

That was sorta neat...it was only a d15b2 junk engine, so i don't really think it was that much of a waste. If those guys didn't blow it up, then it would likely have just been crushed (along with that car) and sold for scrap.
