its the Logitech Z-2200 2.1 Speaker System

The Z5300 are kick ass speakers, they sound great and i love them to bits. Also got a great review at maximum pc :P.

klipsch succccccccccccks. Had 3 sets and all of the subs would distort at not even half the output. So over rated. Fuses go out, blow, etc. Read up, so many complaints.

The satellites are reasonable, but the sub makes me cry. Even on the lowest setting it is super boomy and the frequency response curve is lumpier than your face.

^means the speakers are clear but the bass from the sub is distorted or cracky...it doesnt really cut the specs that it has written on the site or packaging...basically meaning if u dont want to pound ur music, its ok, but if u do...look elsewhere...

i only used them for a couple weeks. they are sitting around in my room and i dont mind letting them go if you are still interested

yeah i am almost bought them one month ago at Staples right beside chinnok center for $200 but i decided to go with the 5 speaker set up instead, but to my knowledge, they should still be there

they are good speakers too, they definately pound when you turn them up

What model you got?

I agree Altec Lansings rock. I remember the old ACS33, those things pounded for $100.

There is no point buying a sound system with a 20watt sub, cause they are going to blow sooner or later. Spend the money on quality.

I dont know of any new Altecs with 200watts juice. Since you only want 2pc, YOU might be happy with Klipsch Pro Media. Though I had bad experiences with mine, I am ttempted to giving it another go, cause the sound is mind blowing. Logitech wont even compare. But I think I might have just gotten a defective unit. I dont know. Actually 2 haha, cause I did exchange them.
