Hi guys,

The place I work has started a friendly competition.

We are tracking our push ups at a value of a beer for every ten
pushups. When you are behind, there is only 2 ways to catch up....do more push ups or buy beer for the guys.

That'll suck for the people that can't do push-ups very well but I guess that'll be motivation to get better at them.

The weaker people can do 5 now, come back an hour later, and do some more.

The only thing we will track is the total push ups done....

..if one person does 50 pushups back to back, and another does 20 push up per day for 5 days.....on friday night, the guy that did 50 pushups might be buying beer.

ofcourse, he could always rattle of another 50, and everyone has to buy their own beer....DOE!!!!!!

Bonus points for one-armed pushups?

Sounds like a good competition. I've been thinking lately how ignored push-ups seems to get with all of these high-tech gismo's we use for working out. I'm really trying to focus on pounding down the push-ups everyday, it's a great way to get stronger.
