*SOLD* FS: Cheap Ipod

Selling my 15gb 3rd gen ipod for $265 or $275 with the usb/firewire cable which isn't included in the 3rd gen ipods.

The Ipod has scratches on front/back and screen) but no deep just very minor. The ipod works great. All you need is a iskin to cover up the ipod and should be fine or buy a product that can remove scratches. www.ipodcleaner.com

Comes with everything from original package. Also still has the futureshop extended warranty till Feb 2006. If the battery only lasts 6 hrs instead of 8hrs you can bring it to futureshop to replace it for free. This can only be done once the apple warranty expires on Feb 14, 2005.

The entire ipod is scratched up but is still useable.

Never dropped and the person i bought it from sold it to me like that, so i ahve no idea how it got that way.

The polished plexi and metal of the iPod will scratch just from being looked at. If it was placed in a pocket alot it would very easily get quite scratch.

Anyways the first pic you can't see the scratches but on the second pic you kinda can see it. Basically the entire ipod is like the second pic.

dude just take in your ipod to futureshop and say that the battery is dead...they will give you a brand new 20gb 4th gen....and u can sell that for like 360

They'll just replace the battery not the entire ipod. I know this because i already tried.

uh open the ipod up, u can see how to do that on one of the battery replacement sites, and drill a hole or two into the battery casing or you could magnetise it or something? im sure some ppl on this forum could help ya out! when you do get a new one, ebay it... you could get around 350ish

With futureshop warranty they just fix it, they don't give you a new one unless you have a lot of problems with it, it is cheaper to replace than fix or you don't get it back by 30 days.

yea i personally am not sure, have had a friend who bought a used 15gb and then bought the warranty, the next day he came in said the battery wasent working, and they gave him a brand new 20gb 4th gen. But this was best buy so im not sure
