View Full Version : Spotted: Right Hand Drive Celica

While on Glenmore today I pulled up behind a Celica (I can't remember but it might have been a GT-4 or something:confused: )... it had no license plate on it at all. Then upon further observation I realized that buddy was sitting on the right side of the car driving.

I know it's not a big deal, but it definetely was a head-trip to see, first no license plate then right hand drive.

If the guy who owns this thing is a member on Beyond, I'm the guy in the Jetta who stayed parellel with you for about a minute while figuring out what the hell was going on:nut:

He had an in transit permit in the windshield :thumbsup:

Which is pretty stupid when you get pulled over and the cop asks why it's not in the back window.

It says specifically to attach it to the FRONT windshield.

But the police officer did have to walk to the other side. :)

Indeed. At least in BC they give you stickers for both the front and back.

I've yet to be pulled over in a RHD car :bigpimp:

Take your plate off and see what happens!

Got pulled over the second day after bringing it back from Vancouver.

Of course it didn't have a plate on at the time.

been pulled over a couple times...one cop spent a little while talkin to my passenger before asking her for her liscense and registration, nother one asked me where my driver went...

Haha...I did see your jetta...black one right? Got the car yesterday, just getting used to RHD :bigpimp: so I was being careful just going the speed limit.

It sucks that it snowed today because I couldn't get it out to get all seasons installed because my tires are totally bald :eek:

yeah...kind of...and i also saw an alltrac in an Autotrader same year and was like 10 grand more, more km's and a little less power.

Cool man, I did notice you were being careful while driving. I thought it was because you didn't want to make a scene with no license plate on.

I'm surprised you did actually notice me as well!
