Carfax in Canada is pointless, you won't find anything at all. I carfaxed a car that had been in 3 accidents, one where it was written off and nothing came up. I carfaxed another car which had been in another accident and again nothing came up.

yeah i wasted money on a carfax. The car was a 1998 and it said the car was first purchased in 2001 (which it wasnt) and it only ever had 1 owner (which it didnt)

Waste of money. Most of these services are a waste IMO now that i know better. expecially carfax and carcostcanada (at least i didnt waste my money on that one). Get a mechanic to look at the car you want to buy and they can tell if it has been in a major accident or not.

Yep unless its a car coming from the USA there is absolutly no point. CarFax gets no info about what goes on in Canada. (if they do its very little)
