no.
42 offset is too low, and 225/40 is too wide.
225/35 is ok, but 42 offset will rub.

But I do have a serious H22 Related question. In my research of my lil F20B...I am currently running an H22A (I think ecu)...but I do need some codes read. Now because I have a swap, do I have an OEM Diag Port??...Or do I take my ECU somewhere, because this whole OBD shit is new to me. I know if I unplug my ECU to get it read it resets so the fault code is then erased until it gets power from ym car again. So what do I do?? Please help...

Primer_Drift

If you have a service connector and CEL hooked up still (and correctly) you just jumper it, turn the ignition to the on position and it will blink the CEL code.

If you have a p13, a CEL hooked up on your cluster, but no service connecter - I believe you jumper pin D22 and and D4 to get it to flash. Otherwise there is a Data link connector that uses pin D22 and D7 that will read the ODB1 data from the ECU while it is in your car.

A13 (switched ground for CEL)
D4 (service connector)
D7 (TXD/RXD datalink)
D22 5v- (sensor ground)

Someone feel free to verify this.. I just pulled it off the schematic

My question is this...

Will this Clicky (http://forums.beyond.ca/showthread.php?s=&threadid=92435) fit/work with/replace a prelude shift boot?

I assume it would, but need to double check... :)

1-Bar
06-27-2005, 12:35 AM
^yes...you will have to take it off the ITR ring and attach your prelude ring to it...its kind of a pain, but it will work no probs. I got the same one....

To all those riding on 18s....how's the ride on the lude?? Is it really that badd?? And also, how is daily driving and dodgeing the potholes??

rc2002
06-28-2005, 08:16 PM
The ride doesn't feel much different from 17 or even the stock 16s. Well, I didn't notice a huge difference anyway. You're getting 18's Chris? Want to buy some? haha. :D

EK 2.0
06-28-2005, 08:41 PM
Chris I think you might have a little more feedback just based on your suspension and the Bride that you ride in everyday. But all in all I dont think it should be too much worse than your 17's were...

DJ Lazy
06-28-2005, 08:44 PM
I am curious aswell... As I am getting my 18's wrapped next week... (bout damn time).. haha... I am curious about the pothole issue... only riding on 35 sidewalls...

buh_buh
06-28-2005, 09:06 PM
i dont dodge potholes, just hit em.
And I don't notice much of a difference in ride quality at all.

1-Bar
06-29-2005, 12:18 AM

Heres a work in progress of mine,

Honda transmission gear ratio comparison excel sheet..
For now it just has the 4th and 5th gen prelude transmissions. Its pretty interesting when you compare the accord (m2l5) and USDM 4th gen (m2f4) transmissions. It also becomes really apparant what affect your tire size has on your speedo and effective final drive of your vehicle. Check it out, let me know what you think.
Right click, save as (http://members.shaw.ca/nibbs333/Honda_trans_v12.xls) :D

edit:
click on the Transmission comparison tab and compare away!

That would be it... With my latest accident it smashed open my headlight housing and the bulb wasn't broken, so it musta took a hit from a rock or something on the way to work this morning.

Glad to know all my warning lamps are functional. :D

The car had a Zex Nitrous kit but I took it off because it seems like the control unit doesn't work anymore. Sometime in the next 3-6 months, I'll be swapping in a lower kilometer JDM engine and I might be putting the car in the trader.

depends what you mean by cheap? cf hoods are easier to come by, so it might be easier to find a "deal" on them, especially for a used one. trunk lids, different story.

i WAS thinking of selling mine previously, and i wouldn't have sold it for any less than $500...and i still wouldn't. a new one's conna cost you around 575 + tax.

I'm excited to see your car :D you and your god damn JDM rims.
do you know around what time it starts?

ps I waxed my car today and all the chips in the front end

At least I'll ahve an excuse for a C/F hood and a new bumper.
