Dum de dum dum duuuuum. Hehehe. Talk about stiring up the hen house.

I have a bunch of honda friends that are looking forward to the new shop. So far the one guy (oriental) seems nice. Niceness goes a long way IMO, that's why my shop of choice is speedville.

yeah there's so many shops here... it'd be a hard business to start in 'cause of that.

So you're saying you don't want more selection of stores and more competitive prices that usually arises from more competition? :dunno: Uh, okay.

I was just going to say that.. actually SPEAKING to your customers is a good starting point... I always feel like I'm being judged when I go into a speed shop, and RARELY will anyone so much as acknowledge that I'm even alive. I went into a shop on Saturday (no names) and said "Hi" to the guy behind the counter, and he just looked at me funny, turned around and walked away... so I did the same.
That's why I go see Nick at Autozeal or Karl at Speedville, both those guys actually take the time to help you.. it means a lot!!

My Speedville experience was pretty cool... I've never met the guy before but he knew me pretty well from Hollywood and the forums :D.

Too bad I didn't have enough time to chat that day... hehe.

Two shops from RPM? Interesting......nothing beats some friendly competition! How many new shops have opened up in the past year? I think I have lost count......

we not trying to start anything up but it was the only nicest and biggest place we could find. but anyways we are hopefully going to be the mopac of imports. we have pistons, rods, block guards, darton sleeves, head gasket and etc. all in stock for mostly honda/acura and talon stuff. we are also going to be stocking lots of turbo stuff. we are going to do all the performance we can to almost all and if not most import cars.

Besides, rumor has it that RPM is getting out of the parts business and going strictly body work.
