Not the best quality, but it works great, and for $85 what can you expect.

Samsung's SC-M52 camcorder, based on the 8mm tape format, is one of the more basic models from the manufacturer -- sound recording is mono, and the color viewfinder is a traditional eyepiece design rather than a flip-out LCD screen.The optical zoom power of 22x is in the above-average range, however, and digital enlargement allows you to go a bit beyond the limits of the optics. (You'll want to use a tripod when you're shooting at high zooms, however, since the SC-M52 doesn't have the image-stabilization mode found on some of Samsung's other models.)The six-mode program auto exposure mode offers preset shutter and aperture values for common shooting situations, and the built-in digital effects add a little polish to your home movies. The camera also ships with a remote control, making it easier to put yourself in the footage.
