So i guess a while a go i filled out some application on the net to be sponsored by Sports Compact magazine, and a rep. called me toady. He said all this good stuff, small sticker, 4 shows... whatever, but then he said to draw up the legal contracts it would cost me $88. Has anyone else had a similar phone call, or knows anyone that may already be on contract with Sports Compact???

The guy kinda seemed like a salesman to me... :dunno:

ill state the obvious which you have most likely already done. research as much as you can, ask as many questions as you can think of, see if they can present some sort of proof of their credentials.

That sounds like the deal that is constantly advertsied in magazines and even in the google adds on this site all from www.carsponsorships.com I was also wondering the same thing if this company is a scam. It seems to me that they could charge you $88 and then just give you the products for a lower mark up price while still gaining exposure and even more $88 payments, as well as making money from sales. I have always wondered about this company and if anyone has ever actually used it, if anyone has any experience with them lets us know.
