heads up to you Red bull fans!

the stuff cost 2.99 at all the 7've
but yesterday i picked up what they had on feature which was called "red rain"

exact same can, and tastes the EXACT same! and it was only 1.99

sure this may be a useless thread to those who don't drink Red Bull! but when you love the stuff as much as i do! saving a buck each can is a great deal!

I think he's talking about the REAL stuff, it comes in a bottle that looks like a medicine bottle. And the label isn't in english.

I think..

Want real sad? Theve have Wal-Marts in England. I beleive they were call Asda or Asra? They have their own generic brand, tastes , look and smells identical. Also has the same effect. The kicker? 1 Litre bottles are 79 pence!!:nut:

This isn't the 'real' stuff, this is the counterfeit asian crap. The 'real' Red Bull is carbonated, in a silver can. It originated in Europe, made its way to US, and finally canada. I am american, and we have been drinking red bull since about 1995 or so...

Your math is off a little bit, remember this is 1 pound converted:
xe.com Universal Currency Converter ® Results
Live mid-market rates as of 2005.02.17 21:28:38 GMT.
1.00 GBP
United Kingdom Pounds = 2.32855 CAD
Canada Dollars
1 GBP = 2.32855 CAD 1 CAD = 0.429452 GBP

which is still less than what we pay for that small ass can.

Sorry, but you are incorrect.

I have a number of close friend who are Red Bull Athletes. I get cases of it for free.

The guy that started it in Europe, found the "real" Red Bull in Thailand. He bought the rights to the formulation for the rest of the world. He started by marketing it in Europe and then it was brought to the US.

The guy loves aviation sports. He is kind of a marketing genius, cause the stuff doesn't really have anymore caffeine that coke does.

*The real bull that I was talking about is Red Bull that you buy here in Canada that just showed up recently, not the Thai stuff*

Like 2.0Turbo said, are you kidding me? If by Red Square you are referring to their Blue Ice vodka cooler, those were SOOOO tasty. There's an awesome pool hall up here that used to sell that, but then they lost their supplier somehow and I haven't had any Blue Ice in over a year!! If these are still being sold somewhere back home in Calgary, can someone please tell me where I can them again???

If you like red-bull, you should try some of the genki-drinks from Nippon. They make red bull, Jolt, Tab and those other little energy drinks look like milk-tea.

Still though, that's a killer price for the real stuff, nice find.

Eh, couldnt be more wrong :) 34mg in a 355ml can of coke vs 80mg in a 250ml can of red bull? Thats about 3 times as much

And yeah, Red Rain is almost identical. Read the ingredients and the quantity of each. Its a carbon copy. Ive got both in front of me :)

I could definatly taste a difference betwen the red rain stuff and Red bull. There is no comparison at all, I even let a couple other people try it and they all said the same thing. Red rain is like the safeway brand of energy drinks.
