did anyone see that on the news tonight? some 15 year old got himself and his class kicked out of rideau hall after he asked how the governor general spends tax-payers money.

what happened to freedom of speech? screw the governor general. what a waste.

Do you have a source or a link or something? I'm sure there was probably more to the story than that.

I know when I was 15 I always thought I was so innocent but really I was an undisciplined hell raising bastard.

The fact is that I doubt that any governor really gives a rip about a bunch of 15 year old kids. By the time the kids can actually vote they'll all have done their time and be lounging in the palm trees on retirement.

As this kid's dad correctly pointed out, all he did was state the facts. If the GG doesn't like it, too friggin bad.

I'll summarize, this 15 year old kid is on a school trip through Rideau Hall, he sees Adrienne Clarkson and says "is that the lady who spends money on the Queen when she's here"? Something along those lines, pretty harmless but factual. Anyways, some tour guide heard it and decided to cancel the tour. So now the GG's office is backpeddling and has offered an apology and new tour.
