I am in need of having some engine work done on the engine from my 87 porsche 951. It needs the cylinders honed, and possibly bored, as well as the head rebuilt. I have been told that Precision Engine Rebuilders is the place to go to. I did some searching, and didn't turn up anything about them on here, so I'm wondering, does anybody have some previous experience with them?

I would recommend them and Cetus. Had my engine built with both of them, AWESOME work.

Sounding good. I'm taking the parts in tomorrow, hopefully I'll have something good to say about them.
Ryan, I'm waiting to see what the bill will be on my 951 head. If it's reasonable, I'll have it fixed, otherwise I'll pick up a used head.

The block is what worries me the most. If it's scored too badly, I have to bore to 100.5mm, and buy oversize pistons (~$1200US), which I really don't want to do. If I have to bore out, I might as well go 104mm, sleeve and make it a 2.65L. But I just don't have the cash...
I can't afford to sink more than $400-$500 into this block...
