hey, question for the mods. my sig was deleted once so i made an alteration that i thought would have taken care of it, but it was deleted again. would it be possible for the mod who deleted it to pm me and tel me what was wrong with it so i can make the appropriate alterations? thanks in advance.

Just click the link in your sig.

Most overlooked rule is filesize so triple check to make sure that you are not only within resolution spec but file size spec. If it is offensive material and we receive complaints it will also be removed. Hope that helps.

i did click the link, and the problem i saw was the original file was somewhere around 93k so i changed it and shrunk it to 40ish k, but it was deleted again. the only other thing i can think of as possible offensive material was there were 2 girls kissing in my sig. i would just like to know if this is the problem so i can complete the proper alterations. thanks again

While I did not remove your signature, it was most likely because of the two women you had that were kissing.

When choosing your signature, please be sure to choose one that does not contain offensive/sexual material. Remember, a lot of users surf from work and school, so try and keep it clean.

We are more lenient with avatar, because they are more difficult to spot and much less detailed.

While we're at it, why was mine deleted? It just had some details on my 2 cars...

Size, content and advertisements are the three likely reasons.

No ads, just listed 2 cars I owned, stating that one of them burned, and the other is a garage queen.
No pictures, and I don't think it was any non-allowed content.
It read pretty close to

86 Porsche 944
249,700km's, never got to see 250,000
Burned Jan 10/05

87 Porsche 951
150,000 miles, 65,000 on engine
Presently a garage queen

I thought that was alright?

Because if it's offensive, the mods will delete it, as per the forum usage rules?
