1988 Chrysler Lebaron Turbo

-Dual Tone: 75% Blue, 25% Silver
-2 Door
-225k on body, 35k of which are on rebuilt engine
-Automatic transmission

The Good:
-2.2L Turbo (SOHC)
-4 Yokohama All Season Tires
-Pioneer CD Deck, Alpine 6x9 rears
-Power windows, doors, mirrors, drivers seat
-Good interior, fabric in excellent shape
-Lady driven
-New Starter
-New radiator
-New thermostat

The Bad:
-No muffler, exhaust ends by trunk
-Slight oil leak

anything worng with it, also in one of the pics where the tach is ..why is it ideling at 3000 rpm

I used to drive one of these, one of the best sleepers out there. I think 1988 = Mopar TurboII which is 175hp/200tq.

Bump for a surprisingly fast car.

Only the GTC LeBaron had the Turbo II motor, the standard engine is the Turbo I with 146hp and 170ft-lbs torque. But still a decently fast car.

LOL When the engine is off the rpm guage is always up like that.......:dunno:

probably just a sticky/ broken tach... but i would like to know what is up too..

the tach in my cavy sticks at 1000 when you shut it off :D

its a t1, mitsubishi turbo, only 146 hp

only 5 speed gtc's were t2 (except in mexico), auto's were all t1 but still got the big brakes and sway bar.

dodge tach's always have little issues with them.

nice interior, would be a great winter car. could get that car up to 200hp in a couple hours work and maybe 150$.

to bad i have 2 turbo daytonas and a project lemans wagon......I am out of room. plus I dont wanna tow that car from calgary to lethbridge......

most turbo dodge cars have sticky guages. my daytona never goes under 3000rpm

cmon guys, someone grab this its a good deal. 500$:eek:
