From experiance, Honda's/Acura's are the safest cars on the road.

In late sept. I wrote off my 99' SiR on the way to work @ 4 am, long story short, due to some very unclear markings of a new detour, I had the choice of driving my car into a concrete barrier @ 70km/hr or driving off into a ditch, or so I thought, it was a 5ft drop not the 1ft or so I thought it was.
My car launched into this "ditch" and it basically broke the car in half, the roof was basically bent inwards about 3", I ripped the front bumper off, broke the motor mounts, driveshafts, transmisson off the motor, punctured the floor boards the rest of the floorboard was pushed in 4-7" all the way around, broke all the windows but the rear.

I walked away from the accident with a concussion and a small gash on my head, nothing really serious, I had hit the ground so hard, I broke the sunroof with my head, and yes, my seatbelt was on. The doctor told me after seeing the photos of the accident I was lucky to be alive and in as good a condition as I was.

I would GLADY drive another honda anyday, especially after it saved my life.

I dunno...

I think this was posted on Beyond but can't find it but here is the link. Accord broke into two going speed limit (http://www.mbcanada.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=6297)
Maybe this was a really bad lemon, but I dunno, it will make me think twice when I get into an accord.

I'm not bashing on Honda or anything, but this seems serious. But Honda/Acuras are some of the safest cars in the world, and I give them a
