View Full Version : Some new Dyno Results - boat engine at 10psi

696hp, 730tq

454 w/ 4 bold main bored and stroked to 510ci. I don't know much more about it then that.
-Edelbrock Performer RPM 454-R Marine Heads. 2.25" intake valves, 1.89" Inconel exhaust valves.
-Procharger Marine Supercharger with Air-Water intercooler. 10psi.
-Custom roller cam
-Forged rods, crank, pistons (8.5:1CR)
-Holley 600cfm carb
-Stock intake (clearance issues)

We'll run it at 7psi once it's in the boat again.

^they're terrible?, why is there a belt connected to the turbo? or is it a supercharger that looks like a turbo?

There are several kinds of superchargers. Centrifugal, Roots, and Screw (similar to the roots, more of a predecessor to it).

That one shown is a Centrfugal.

mmmmmmmm, big marine engines :drool: i see engines like that all the time, i pass by Outer Limits about three times a week and sometimes they have the doors open, ohhhh boy :drool: :drool:
