Just put a new emblem on my car, from a 2000 accord. I think it looks pretty good! Thoughts?

That's pretty sweet. I might have put it on the left or right side of the back. Did u just glue it on or what?

I kinda like the look of it in the middle... It makes it stand out a little bit more. And yeah, it had an self-adhesive backing, but I put on Pro Form Emblem Adhesive ($6 at AutoValue) on the back to make sure it sticks even better.

I would have went with a debadge look than use a new emblem on an older model.

Yeah, I agree. The stupid H logo has holes behind it, so I guess it's a natural choice to put the emblem in the middle.

I've also seen another 90 Accord with weird badging. Instead of "Honda" on the left side of the trunklid, it was "Guangzhou Honda" in Chinese in that spot! Guangzhou Honda assembles Odyssey, Accord, CR-V for the Chinese market. Weird thing is, that plant didn't exist until mid-90s.

I like new badging on an old car - the Toyota oval T looks great on an AE86! :)

BTW, how much did the Accord emblem cost?

Yeah, part of the reason why it's in the middle is because it covers up the original holes from the 'H'.

I got it from Crowfoot Village Honda... it was $23.
