My uncle in edmonton is a manager at City Ford and gets a lot of perks from the dealer, including a new car every 6 months to drive. Anyways, just got into edmonton for the holidays and he pulls up in a brand new Ford Thunderbird. Beautiful car!

All the speedlimits in the area are marked down from 100......

He didnt' ask for my registration or insurance, just my licsence, and told me I should seek legal advice because the courts will probably want to take my license for 30 days.....

actually some cops are really nice. when i was in bc in august me and my gf were hurring home to say godbye to my aunt who was leaving and i didnt realize it but the speed limit dropped from 110 100 - 60 in like 100 meters. cop steps out and says do you know how fast you were going? i said im sorry i was speeding and how fast was i going? 131 in a 60:banghead: i felt like such a dumbass, he went back to his car and came back wrote down my license plate and asked how much i thougha ticket like this would cost. i answered stupidly and said 150 bucks lol. he then proceeded to tell me i was very lucky i had a ncie car and new what i did wrong, told me to enjoy my stay just slow down and hands me this yellow piece of paper and it says warning $ 640 and a happy face? im like wtf? he keeps walking and says have a good summer, i still carry the ticket with me as a good luck charm, 2 days later in calgary 150 bucks and 5 demerits and the biggest dick cop ive ever met.
so the moral of the story is slow down! and you win some you lose some:thumbsup:
