dont buy the car without checking it.

Is it a high-risk vehicle?

Go to your registry and get the history...

Carfax does that so people like you start worrying. I bought my car - nearly MINT, and it said I have a whole bunch of records. I got someone to run it for me, clean. Went the the registries, clean.

Sure, whatever your provincial office is called that is designated with registering your vehicles, issuing licence plates and such.

Go there with the VIN #. They will give you a report for about $20 that will tell you the past owners, mileage history, and any major accidents, among other info.

lol wut a waste of 25 dollars. i went on carfax.com and payed 25 dollars and turned out all 8 records were just permit renewal and emision test. wut ever i feel a lot better now that i know it hasn't been in any serious accident

i was under the impression that carfax did not neccesarily catch all of the accidents on canadian cars....

wow, you just don't listen huh?

Carfax doesn't catch much on canadian cars. Your registry would have done it for cheaper, and it would have been more accurate. HAHA

Carfax is useless in Canada :bullshit: I ran 2 cars on it, they both turned out clean, then i ran them both at the registry, 1 was salvaged 2 times and recertified the other was non-repairable. So go to your local registry don't trust carfax!
