Does anyone know approximately how much fabric is required to cover the rear bench of a 2+2 for me to reupholster it? And also possibly door panels as well? I know nobody will know for sure, just an approximation. Thanks guys! :)

First of all it's going to depend on the car and second of all just get a measuring tape!

well its for my friend.
Its a 96 or 97 Prelude. I forget which one, but here's a pic of the seats. He doesn't want it done like this, but this is just to show how much seat there is to cover.

That looks like a 5th gen. I got a quote last year on the same car and some shops wanted 5 square meters. That seems kind of high to me - but I guess they wanted to be on the safe side.

I would think twice about wrapping the door panels.Sure it looks good but in the summer time when you park your car outside when the heat hits the door panel it heats up the glue underneath the fabric which causes air bubbles and you wont be able to get them out without re-doing it, just my 2 cents about it.Artistic upholestry does awesome work for a reasonable price

richardchan2002, hmm that seems like a lot to me too. But I will take that into consideration. Thanks.

talon2nv, is this for all fabrics, or for certain fabrics only?
thanks for your input :)
