Yellow signals legal?

Does anybody know if yellow front signals are legal? I heard somewhere they have to be amber.

Amber, red and white are the only legal ones but im pretty sure you could get away with yellow, since amber is pretty close.

Well I know white signals are illegal, and you can't show white on the rear of your car, or red on the front, but I figure yellow is pretty close to amber, so maybe I can get away with it. Yellow fog lights are legal right:dunno:

white is illegal becuase it blinds on comming traffic in low light conditions, like the highway

yellow fogs are legal only when it is foggy. Go figure.

I was thinking of taking out the amber lens on my headlights. But is it legal if i take it out and then put in an orange bulb?

if i buy a clear bulb and i want it to be orange..is it possible?
do i just spray on transparent orange paint or something?

Not if it also has the orange reflector built into it. No reflector=ticket

well someone better tell the cops

cause I got a ticket with white bulbes and yellow reflectors
the ticket even said it was for non amber color signal lights.

Different cops will give you different answers. I've gotten the ok to have red or white signals while others have ticketed me for those. Also different answers from the Justice of the peace I dealt with. Depends who you're dealing with. If you don't want a ticket, definitely not blue or red (same color as emergency vehicles).

The turn bulb HAS to be orange. You can have a clear housing but when you put your blinker on it has to blink orange to be legal. If you have a clear turn signal housing and an orange bulb you still need a yellow reflector on the car somewhere up front.
Now i drove with all clears for a few years and never got pulled over...

i got a clear corner and clear bulb i never got pulled over .. even the blinker is clear bulb... i think it has a bit of blue though and dam,n bright as well when blinking.....

so does this mean mine is legal and i just keep getting away with it....

i mean my car is pretty much heat for those pigs out there....
