Alpine Type S Subwoofers?

Hi, i was just wondering how much (2) Alpine 12 inch Type S DVC subwoofers with a carpeted box is worth..

new and used..

As long as they're in good shape I'd guess they'd be worth $200 Used.

try to get type r there probubly cheap right now because there discontinued as well as the digital amps

Type Rs are not discontinued, they are just being updated. You could find the older ones cheap now, I bet. The new ones have a folded surround (it looks like it has been folded and has a couple grooves in it) and a slightly different cone, higher power handling (500 watts RMS vs. 300 watts RMS for the old ones) and all around better performance.
There are new Type S subs as well, but they are defective and I'm not sure if a good batch has hit stores yet. They are just a cosmetic update though, there are only very minor changes from the old Type S with the painted silver cone to the new ones with the shiny silver cone.
Used two Type S in a box, $250ish. Brand new, $400 tops.
