I dont think they are, they are halogen projectors :dunno: and he bought it in apr 2004

Edit: Just talked to him..the headlights are ellipsoid projection headlights.

If your main concern is xenon headlights, you can buy them for about 250-500, depends who, when where etc..

Easy to install. The projector is perfect for the HID bulb.

actually using HID Drop in kits in HALOGEN HOUSINGs will cause Serious GLARE

DOing an HID upgrade will be in the area of
$600 to $800 dollars

Parts required

E-CODE or NA CODE
Xenon spec housings
and
Xenon D2S Bulbs and Ballasts

Most people will go the E-CODE housing route
do to the
__/__/
beam pattern and blacked out options

Well you can actually try HID's in the halogen housings first and see how the cutoff is. Sometimes the halogen projectors in higher end cars can handle HID's.

What???? Do some research first buddy. Audi does have FWD vehicles in Canada. Audi A4 since 2002 (the new gen)..The 1.8t CVT (Sedan and Wagon) is FWD, as are the Cabriolets.
Also, the prev. gen A6 had a 3.0 CVT model, as did the TT, last year I believe.

I was interested in purchasing either a cvt or quattro one a few years ago, and have driven both...

"A4 1.8 T
Starting at $35,585*
Tried and true, this 170 hp turbocharged A4 delivers on all counts. Three separate available powertrain options: multitronic™ Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) with FrontTrak front-wheel drive, or a five-speed manual or Tiptronic® automatic, both with quattro® all-wheel drive."

Check the website. It clearly says "front-wheel drive"

Not true. You can buy fwd in Canada. The CVT tranny felt terrible when i drove it but you can get them. Quattro is an option.
