any good buffets in town? how many items? and how much $$$ at each place?

can you be a little more specific? treasures of china, which is decent quality and pretty steep in price.... lots of items. the taj mahal on macleod is good too, 9 bucks, lots of good indian food! can't comment on anything outside sw.

Namaskar on 16th ave near the brick...$12 bucks awesome food about 10-11 items

theres alright chineese in airdrie "silver star"
its about 10 $

New Chinese place on 14th Street near the Regal Beagle can't remember name off hand. Looks nice, will try it out as some point.

tandoori hut is pretty good indian food, $11 bucks upwards of 12 items i would say.

The one in deerfoot serve typical Chinese buffet +

- prime ribs
- crab
- frog legs
- Salmon Sashumi

for $16.

Food is average, but if you like Salmon Sashumi, you can really make it worthwhile.

I just went the the Executive Royal Inn in the NE near Barlow and 23 St. Good brunch buffet. Not sure about cost because my friends paid.

why are most buffets asain places?

iam a fan of the pizza hut lunch buffet, 6.99

Their is this place called China Rose(thats what its called I think, there is a ROSE for sure). Their food is excellent, buffet is like under 10 bucks I think for lots of stuff and its chinese food.:drool:

Yangtze or whatever it's called in Deerfoot mall is the best IMO! Roast beef, salmon sashimi, crab legs, frog legs... ha ha ha

china rose food quality has degraded over the years

Good buffets are hard to come by. The only really good buffets can be found at:

1. Cruise ships
2. Las Vegas
3. Extremely expensive hotels like the Banff Springs...
