Bullet point style.

-I am getting an 05 f150 4x4 provided for me for field work.

-I only need basic offroad capability.

-I can get my own ride and charge off kms.

-I'm thinking of a Forester XT for several reasons:

-you can nver have too many turbo vehicles in the fleet
-If I get a babydick SUV (escape e.g.) I will be disappointed in price.
-If I get a huge one it will be just hella expensive.
-The subbie is tunable and would be fun..

Now the question - I've negotiated a couple new car buys, but always domestics.

Is there much room to move?
Any recommendations for a dealer?
If you know a sales guy who you can refer me to and make yourself some scratch (the 2 guys I bought off did this) then please feel free.

So yeah, 2 td04 equipped rides in the fleet soon  :dunno:

There should be at least $2K to move on an XT, if not more.

The 2005 has been out since June, so it is technically old.

I got my car at Centaur. Dealt mostly with the sales manager. The sales guy was useless, but I hear he isn't there anymore.

^^ I had the same problem with the sales guy at Centaur , so i bought mine at Charles English... but I get my car checked at Centaur LOL .

Like Benyl said , 2-3.5k i would say for the XT.

Good information guys, thanks. I have the luxury of being able to look in Red Deer, Grande Prairie, Calgary and Lethbridge as I routinely haunt all of those decrepid hell holes..
