Ok I have some options here. I can use my 17" Verdicts. I don't think that would be good. They are HEAVY.

But I can get some 14" acura rims that are way lighter. But here's teh thing. The tires width on my 17" are a lot wider, so wouldn't I get tons more tractino with those.?

What rism should I use? I haven't been to the track yet, so I'm a rookie there.

Help please!

are you talking drag or road racing/autox?

Depends what you want.

Track as in : Road Course or Solo 2 or drag?

IMO

Solo 2.
Widest + smallest diameter that you can get / fit the caliper.

Eg 225/XX/13
(Yes, I mean 13")

Road Course:
Speed for traction or Traction for speed.

This is where you will have to find out what works.
Need a bitmore info for comment.

Wheels to get: strong + light

If your a rookie I would say run stock and learn. No reason to have the best to only trash them from inexpereince (It actually inhibts learning - gotta spin out to learn)

It's for teh Drag strip. AutoX is crazy, I'll die doing that.

AutoX is easy, you barely hit 100km/h, even if you do, it's for a very short amount of time. Roadcourse is a bit more challenging =).

How much does it help? I was at 32psi all night.

If I go down to 18 that should help, hey?
